The Water Project has estimated that people around the region of Ethiopia collectively spend almost 40 billion hours in search of water. A average human being almost spends 6 hours in search of water. This issue affects almost 1 billion population of African continent.

The Inventor/Designer of this device, Arturo Vittori, an industrial designer with his colleague Andreas Vogler have not included any complex designs or engineering into it, just a basic shape and materials are used in making of this 30-foot tall tower.

Arturo Vittori has said that this invention can provide 25 gallons of clean drinking water to remote locations like villages.
