Smartphone war is right now totally focused between Apple and Samsung with HTC and Nokia also fighting aggressively to have a market share. And here, it looks like one of the old giant in the phone business has decided to make his mark again and make himself noticed with its latest budget phone Moto G.
Motorola one of the known name in the mobile market which kind of disappeared from the market has made a comeback with its latest phone Moto G which took the whole market by blaze and made a name for Motorola.
Moto G is phone which gives you almost all the features, as compared with the top notch phones of Samsung and Apple and other big brand but without burning a hole in your pocket. The Moto G which contains the Google’s Android Jellybean with capability to be updated to the Android 4.4 Kitkat which is the latest version of Android. And another version of Moto G runs Android 4.4 KitKat right out of the box.

Google would be providing and online Cloud support to the Moto G Customers which will, more or less compensate for the lack of external memory card slot.
The hardware is of good quality and phone has a unique anti spill feature which doesn’t actually make it waterproof like Sony Xperia Z but protects it from minor exposure, like spilling water on phone and getting the phone wet in rain. The phone comes with vibrant colors giving you a lot of choices similar to iPhone C.
The biggest up is the price of phone which is $179 for the 8 GB version and for the 16Gb version you have spend a little more, $199 but it seems worth it considering the product you are getting.
Motorola has directly challenged the giants like Apple and Samsung who are making a huge profit on per unit to a new style of marketing, less profit more sale. Let’s see whether the success of Moto G forces others as well to slash their phone prices to make the market more competitive.
