Iran finally is rolling back its Nuclear program amid global pressure and trade embargo. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s ambitious program to make country Nuclear power had thrown the country into a dark abyss. While he stepped down as the President of Iran last year and Hassan Rouhani assuming the office he has tried to calm down the tensions.

In the election campaigns Mr. Rouhani had promised for a better future for Iran and more efforts to calm down the relations with the West. As a deal with the world powers Iran started to roll back its Nuclear Program as said by the UN and Iranian Officials.

However we can’t say it is totally roll backed. As seen on the Iran’s English language new’s service Press TV, Akbar Salehi said that “Iran has voluntarily suspended 20% enrichment of Uranium in compliance with the international accord”.Akbar Salehi is head of Iran’s Nuclear Energy Organization.

This agreement was scheduled to start in last year but it delayed to this year and finally it started. Iran has also agreed/commenced to reduce its stockpile of 20% enriched Uranium.

The IAEA(International Atomic Energy Agency) has confirmed that Iran has halted its enrichment from its Sensitive Nuclear plant as inspected by the inspectors of UN which are in Tehran.

The halt in program is a 6 month relief from international embargo/sanctions. International powers are hoping to enlongate this period and totally want to stop the nuclear research.
