Google Now To Be Implemented In Web Browser Chrome



The Chromium Project of Google is preparing to implement Android – based Google Now technology into its Chrome web browser. The users will be able to integrate the Android App Google Now with the browser.

The technology of Google Now to deliver weather updates, trip departure reminders, birthday alerts, nearby restaurant reviews, among other features will be available using the the web browser Chrome itself.

The Google Now app itself also integrates Google calenders and similiar searches which were launched by Google in Google I/O conference held in June 2012, a new addition to Jelly Bean(Android 4.1) update.

It is pretty amazing technology which will help users to get updates on their computers, desktop and tablet devices. The developers working on the Chromium project have accepted a submission for “Creating a skeleton for Google Now for Chrome Implementation”.

Google recently implemented boarding passes to Google Now which can be accessed by swiping up from the Home Icon situated on the Android home screen which have on screen softkeys, similiar to how Apple integrated the Passbook App into iOS6.
