Not just the rumoured Black colour, Samsung has announced four new colour options for the Galaxy S III smartphone on Tuesday. These colours are Amber Brown, Garnet Red, Sapphire Black and Titanium Grey.
There is a bit of a theme here though with all the colour options being based around gemstones or minerals, there’s ‘Amber Brown’, ‘Garnett Red’ (why not Ruby?) and the odd-one-out with ‘Titanium Grey’.
The new range joins the existing models in ‘Pebble Blue’ and ‘Marble White’.
In terms of specs we’ve seen nothing to indicate these will be any different than the regular Galaxy S3 models and a 64GB model is scheduled to arrive before the end of the year (though whether it’ll be available in the new shades remains to be seen).
These new colours are ‘subject to carrier availability’ so not every network or retailer will necessarily have every colour variant. There’s also no word yet on when these new hues will arrive other than the rather ambiguous ‘soon’.
